Welcome to Steve Marsh Couriers, a business which I formed in 2015 following 20 years experience of working in Customer Service and Operational Improvement across the Logistics and Distribution sector.
Our ethos is primarily focused on “Going the Extra Mile”, excuse the pun.
High levels of customer service, proactiveness, reliability, safe and secure, on time every time delivery of your goods are at the core of our business.
We primarily operate from two strategic locations, one in Cheshire within close proximity to the M6 and M62 and the second in Yorkshire very close to the M62, M1 and A1.
That said, our network of vehicles expands throughout the whole of the UK Mainland. Whether it be motorbike, small, medium or large van, envelope, box, pallet(s) or other we are able to cater for your needs.
If you’ve encountered delays or maybe had a last minute, urgent request meaning you need to deliver the same day – no problem. We endeavour to collect your goods within 60 minutes. Once collected we provide you with confirmation along with an eta for delivery. We keep you updated in realtime throughout our journey.
Perhaps your need is not quite so urgent and next day will be soon enough – no problem. We will collect your goods at a time convenient to you and will subsequently deliver at your preferred time during the following. The same principles of service updates apply.
If you offer extended delivery times to your customers, for example 3 to 5 days, 7 to 10 days and so on – no problem. We can collect in bulk, the items to be delivered across multiple sites during your promised lead time. We will if you wish contact each delivery point on your behalf and book each delivery in with them. Whilst doing so we maximise on efficiency to ensure effective route planning and reduced costs to you.
It is imperative that we give you total confidence in our ability and therefore we’ve taken all of the necessary steps to ensure that we do so.
First and foremost we offer Goods in Transit insurance cover to the tune if £50,000 along with Public Liability to £2 million. Not that we’ve ever had reason to call upon them but they are there for your peace of mind.
All vehicles are tracked throughout their journey ensuring that we are able to provide you with clear, accurate, up to date, real time updates on our drivers progress.
The security of our cargo, your goods, is paramount and therefore we carry straps, packing blankets and fire extinguishers at all times.
As well as protecting your good we also protect our drivers and all whom they come into contact with. They each wear the necessary PPE appropriate to the circumstances to include masks, gloves, antibacterial gels, sanitiser, hi viz jackets, hard hat, safety boots, safety glasses and so on.
